God Came to Take Them Home

While hiking the Path of the Gods in Amalfi, Italy, I came across a series of strange, sad and beautiful little carvings. This is the game that the carvings and my hike inspired.

God Came And Took Them Home is a collaborative storytelling game about a group of pilgrims undertaking a perilous journey from their home to the shrine of their Gods. To play, you'll need between 3 and 5 players, a pen or pencil and paper, and some six-sided dice of two different colors. One player acts as the Record-Keeper, who takes on the role of the world, and the other players act as the Pilgrims who are making the journey. A game of God Came And Took Them Home takes between 3-4 hours.
